Neromar - Operating instructions
Sellita SW200-1 operating instructions
These instructions apply to JJCC Watch Brand watches fitted with a Sellita SW200 or SW200-1 movement with a date display. If fitted with a screw down crown, turn it anticlockwise until it releases before winding or setting. Clockwise means as viewed looking directly at the outer end of the crown.
| CROWN POSITION | FUNCTION |
|---|---|
| Innermost, released | Manual winding and normal operation |
| First click | Rapid date adjustment |
| Second click | Time setting, seconds hand stopped |
1. Start and wind
With the crown in its innermost released position, turn it clockwise slowly for approximately 15 turns to start a stopped watch. This provides an initial charge, not necessarily a full wind. Normal wrist movement continues winding the movement. Never force the crown.
2. Prepare for date setting
Pull the crown to the second click. The seconds hand stops. Advance the hands clockwise to 6 o’clock, keeping the calendar mechanism clear of its changeover period.
3. Set the date
Move the crown inward to the first click. Turn it gently to advance the date display and select yesterday’s date. Do not force it if you feel unusual resistance.
4. Set the time
Pull the crown to the second click again. Advance the hands clockwise until the date changes to today, identifying midnight. Continue to the correct time, remembering to pass noon for a PM time.
5. Close the crown
Push the crown fully inward to restart the seconds hand. If the crown screws down, press it gently inward and turn clockwise until snug. Do not overtighten.
Everyday care
Never adjust or wind the crown while wet or underwater. Follow your watch model’s water resistance guidance. Avoid strong magnets and heavy impacts. Correct the date after months with fewer than 31 days. If winding becomes difficult or performance changes significantly, contact JJCC Watch Brand for service advice.
